Hi...I’m Lori, Thank you for stopping by to get to know me better and to learn a little about why I am here on LinkedIn. I have had many jobs in my life, but only one career. Fortunately, I found my passion early in life and became an educator, teacher, mentor, and coach. After many years of teaching within the public school system, I retired in 2021. I taught through the Covid Pandemic world lockdown and into the 2020-2021 hybrid school year and finally retired due to complete burnout. It was February, a few weeks away from Spring Break and a couple of months from Summer Break. I was broken and mourning my career when I should have been celebrating. But that was then... Now, after healing, my mission is to continue educating and supporting people of all ages and at all stages of life to help them navigate this wild journey. I will offer insight for anyone wanting to get more out of their life. To thrive, and not simply survive. To laugh more and stress less. I’m here, to share knowledge and increase awareness of adult ADHD challenges and possibilities (the good👍🏼, the bad👎🏼, and the hmmm 🤔) and how to raise and teach children to become happy, healthy, and eventually well-adjusted adults. Using my personal experience as a late-diagnosed adult with ADHD (I was 50) and my background as an educator (30+ years), I hope to help others navigate the struggles of aging and move forward with grace and grit. I’m passionate about teaching early literacy and reading skills because once we can read, we can begin to grow! I want to meet people whose passions align with mine.
