Staff Software Engineer

I work at Growth team as full stack software engineer currently. I am building interesting product here to grow our membership from international market and mobile-first users.

Beside Growth product, I worked on building new LinkedIn Events Product experience:
- Laid the foundation of LinkedIn Events Product.
- Led, Designed and developed new Search vertical for Events and integration with People Search (Backend integration and Java API). These integrations power users to discover new events and explore event attendees via search filers.
- Developed Events registration flow with Apache Samza, Apache Kafka and LinkedIn Developer Platform.
- Developed the networking experience on Android for the initial MVP.

Senior Software Engineer

Joined Growth team at LinkedIn

I worked on designing and building the first funnel tracking system for LinkedIn growth invitation ecosystem including People You May Know, Address Book Import and other associated products. The tracking system provides the insight of invitation funnel and helps engineers/ops to identify the root cause of any site issues.

Software Engineer

MediaTek

As one of the pioneering engineers who worked on LTE (4G) protocol at MediaTek (HQ):
• Developed LTE (4G) protocol stack, specially in non-access stratum (NAS - EMM/ESM) layer
• Designed the next-generation software architecture of LTE protocol stack on mobile chip
• Implemented critical software to handle LTE protocol in C/C++ in product code quality
• Conducted the software integration test plan to ensure software quality in various platforms
• Improved software robustness by implementing unit and integration test cases, with great code coverage both in function and branch coverage

In my senior year of NTU, I worked as a part-time employee at MediaTek (Taipei Office):
• Performed WCDMA (3G) protocol verification and field trial testing in Taipei metropolitan area
• Developed automatic test environment for 3G protocol software on mobile chip to reduce testing manpower and improve the robustness of software system
• Designed and implemented software test suites for stress and overnight tests to ensure the software quality and reliability

Assistant Engineer

Experienced Senior Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the internet industry. Working on system design, Android client, Java mobile API server, and Hadoop offline flow for developing different features on LinkedIn Growth products.
