I have over 30 years unique and broad experience in the Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical industry covering Research and Development, Quality Control, medicine and cosmetic formulation, manufacturing, regulatory affairs and global supply chain management. My experience included 11 years as Chief Pharmacist for the UK division of the Swiss natural medicine and cosmetics manufacturer Weleda. My consulting has mainly focussed on NPD (new product development) for natural pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and cosmaceuticals. I have unique experience in the innovation and development of new product formulations and brands with global market potential. Since 2004 my companies have focussed on the use of food and nutraceutical ingredients, intended for a wide spectrum of markets. During this time, we have seen the enormous potential for targeted nutritional products in both the treatment and prevention of disease and believe that this sector will play an increasing role in future healthcare.
