My wife (Heather) and I launched The Hoffman Agency in December 1987 after six years in journalism and public relations (first job was with a daily newspaper called the El Independiente in South Tucson). Starting with a focus on the tech sector, the Agency now supports a range of consumer and B2B clients with complexity serving as the common denominator. Today, I counsel clients in areas ranging from global brand building to the art of storytelling. If can get on my soapbox for a minute: Most business communications would be improved by simply applying a conversational tone. I enjoy serving as an advocate for the PR profession, speaking and writing on a number of topics. By virtue of being a global company and implementing multi-country programs the learning never ends.
