In March 2023, I received a WhatsApp message from Rushina: "Louis—I've had an idea, and I've got something to show you." 

12 months later, Insane Kane was born ⚽ 

Rushina had to climb a mountain to make this happen - it's a story of proper #entrepreneurial grit. 

A tie-up with the England captain, Harry Kane, cleverly timed for the start of the Euro's. It's boosted the brand's fame and helped Insane Grain to pick up listings in Tesco, Waitrose & Partners, Co-op and Ocado Retail. 

I've always shouted about the power that brilliant entrepreneurs have to disrupt the Food industry - here's an example with bells and whistles on.

I was a teenager the last time Labour was in power 

It's a big day if you work in the #food industry. The previous government has driven frustration and inaction. 

There will be 330 new MPs coming to parliament, and it should be celebrated that there will be over 240 female MPs, the highest number ever. 

With change comes an opportunity to inspire and engage, which gives an opportunity for progress

The new government: 
➡ Has the opportunity to lead the world with a new agricultural strategy, ensuring value for all in the supply chain
➡ Can put inequality firmly at the heart of the debate, ensuring our food systems are fair for all 
➡ Take responsibility to level the playing field in the industry and roll out with the National Food Strategy 
➡ Put us back on the map at the home of progressive and purpose led food innovation 

The transition to a healthier and more sustainable food system is hard. 

Collaboration, new policy and investment is key, so are the skills and knowledge needed for teams to make the jump.
