In particular, she is highly skilled in the preparation of declarations providing evidence in support and submissions constructing legal argument supporting the acceptance of trade marks. Louise has a pragmatic and innovative approach to commercial aspects of intellectual property. She supports her clients in matters of appropriate licensing, IP due diligence reporting, trade mark clearance searches and brand selection, as well as ongoing trade mark portfolio management. Louise also acts for clients in a broad spectrum of associated specialities including, copyright issues, Australian Consumer Law matters, passing off issues plus corporate and commercial matters where IP is a relevant consideration. Among many others, she is a trusted advisor to information technology businesses in addition to clients in the biotechnology and life sciences industries in Australia and overseas. Louise is a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ).
