Back at it and feeling incredibly recharged after an amazing 5-week road trip through Thailand and Laos! 🇹🇭🇱🇦 From the bustling streets of Bangkok to the tranquility of northern Chiang Mai, the thrilling Gibbon Experience in Laos, and a final week of sailing and island hopping in the south—it was truly an unforgettable adventure. 🗺️⛵🏝️

A few quick peaks at my emails and Slack now and then assured me that everything was running smoothly at Wuzzon, which is a huge testament to our incredible team.  Thanks to everyone for keeping the ship sailing perfectly! 🙏

Now, the batteries are fully recharged, the head is clear, and the agenda is packed with exciting commercial chats. I'm ready to make the last four months of the year truly epic. 🚀

September is here, and that means that major e-commerce events like Black Friday, Sinterklaas and Christmas are just around the corner! 🛍️ Our friends at Adjust just released their 2025 shopping app report, which emphasizes that early preparation is crucial for success. 

Some insights:
  💠 Global installs dipped slightly in H1 2025, sessions climbed, indicating a focus on higher-quality users. User engagement is evolving. 
 💠 Session lengths are shortening, and Day 1 retention rates are seeing a gradual dip (global Day 1 retention at 13% in H1 2025). 

This means every interaction counts!

Actionable Advice: 
💠 Prioritize engagement-focused campaigns early in Q4 to build momentum. 
💠 Test creatives and messaging while CPIs are manageable. Implement sticky features like onboarding rewards, saved carts, and smart notifications to boost early engagement and retention.
💠 Don't forget to diversify your channels to reduce saturation risk!
