I co-founded and acted as director to get Monkey Square off the ground and financed. Also co-organized Monospace 2011 (now named Monkey Space), a conference for .Net open source enthusiasts centered around Mono.

Monkey Square was founded shortly after the conference, which was a big success. Even though I'm not a director anymore, due to time constraints, I'm still in charge of the application for 501(c)(3) status.

• I have grown as a developer through the use of SOLID object oriented principles, the use of an inversion of control container, a fair dose of reflection and extensive unit testing.
• Initiated the improvements made to the testing processes and I was a catalyst in shortening the feedback loop between developers and testers
• Took responsibility for the UI automation tests, the build process and our git server. I created a Ruby app that was used to fill our database with data using domain specific language.

My experience since getting my computer science degree has spanned multiple technologies and techniques across various domains using Python, Scala, C#, Ruby, Haskell, JavaScript and C++. Overtime, I have become a well rounded developer that can get things done and shipped.

I enjoy developing software that works well with a focus on readability and maintainability, always thinking of the software development cost/time curve. I constantly study various topics related to software, such as object oriented principles, pure functional  programming, software development flow and how to be a good leader.
