For the first 23 years of my life, I had no idea what I wanted to do when I grew up. But I always had a knack for selling and negotiating (with my friends and family). My mom always told me "You need to be in sales" to which I'd respond, "What even is sales? Like going door to door?" I finally figured out what she meant when I started with Red Bull. It was my first opportunity to sell, and I had a blast. I created a ton of relationships within the restaurant and bar industry. I realized that talking to new people, problem-solving, and negotiating wins gave me energy. But I wanted to take it a step further and get into the tech industry while combining my love for restaurants. Then, the perfect opportunity landed on my doorstep (my LinkedIn DMs). I took a job as an Account Executive with SpotHopper. In my first 6 months, I broke the company sales record and many other records, sold 4x quota, and made it to President's Club. In 9 months, I achieved the top progression path and became a Senior AE. After 2.5 years of selling with SpotHopper, I was ready for my next challenge. I accepted a Mid Market AE role at Attentive to continue growing my sales career while learning a new industry (eCommerce) and navigating larger accounts/deals. I strive to continually learn and grow in the sales world as I figure out my next move - while helping others do the same by sharing tips & tricks on how I've achieved my successes.
