My main professional objective is to guide business decisions through the use of data. Graduated in Chemical Engineering, I developed experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing environment at BASF in the first years of my career, where I stood out through my problem solving skills, in particular using the 6 sigma methodology, acting in the reduction of scrap and loss of raw materials in the production process, which led to annual savings of around 60kEUR. From Lean Six Sigma I transitioned into data science in 2019. At Braincube I acquired experience in product development and data projects in industrial environments, as well as in working with SaaS technology. As a data consultant, I guided some of the biggest players in the steel, food, mining sectors, among others, to develop a data-driven mindset through both consulting and in-company training on using the Braincube tool. One of the national leaders in the steel sector I worked with reported savings of around 1MMBRL with scrap reduction when using the CrossRank algorithm to identify the root cause of the problem combined with a routine management strategy using data integrating the engineering and operation teams on the shop floor. Internally, I used my skills as a data scientist on projects that used clustering algorithms as well as A/B Testing to identify product improvement points as well as identify different groups of users. The insights generated from these analyzes were fed back to the sales team, which, by adopting a more customized customer service strategy, was able to increase sales conversion by 75%. At Shape I worked as a data scientist developing models based on machine learning and engineering for large industries in the areas of maintenance and process engineering. A CbM-type predictive maintenance solution for the presses of a leading company in the pulp and paper sector was able to capture pre-failure behavior with 100% recall because it was based on an engineering rule.
