When I moved back to Stockholm in January after the years in New York, I felt a burning urge to start building again – hacking and coding like I used to, not "just selling and GTM". I took a leap of faith and humbly declined other really cool “come join us” opportunities, instead diving into a bunch of idea spaces: AI for farmer grants, AI bridge maintenance, beer social medias, deep tech at KTH Innovation – the list goes on.  🔨

Together with my brilliant co-founder Linus B., whom I've literally been "one person away from" for the last decade in the Stockholm startup ecosystem, (I clumsily spilled meatballs and lingonberries on my pants the first time we met over lunch 🥘, thanks for intro Henrik Hansson!), I found the one challenge I knew I wanted to dedicate the next decades to: the inefficiencies of the construction industry – the industry that literally builds everything around us 🏗️.

Every year, construction errors and waste cost Sweden alone over 111 billion kronor ($11B) – and trillions globally. One of the world’s largest industries, making up more than 10% of GDP, is drowning in paperwork, delays, cost overruns, and missed details. 

At its core, this isn’t just an industry challenge. It’s a societal one. And after spending the last 9 months deep-diving into it 24/7, I’m convinced it’s a data problem – perfectly suited for AI.

Our mission is simple: to give estimators and project managers – the people whose work sits at the core of construction and real estate development – a best (AI) friend that catches the details, protects margins, and keeps projects moving. Or put simply: build AI that lets builders focus on building 🧱👷

We’ve worked every day, 997, for the past few months and it’s been so much fun: getting accepted early into Y Combinator's Fall 25 batch, being back at my alumnus SSE Business Lab, raising $500k before the company was registered, 5x’ing the team with passionate generalists in September — and most importantly, watching our first partner customers take a leap trusting our AI and seeing tangible ROI from day one. 

And while many say construction is conservative and behind digitally, I’ve found the opposite: the response has been fantastic, with the next generation builders eager to embrace AI. To mention a few early-believers, thanks Tom Sakofall Oliver Robsahm and Tobias Hedlund!

With a new brand, website, first customer story (more coming soon), launch videos, and press coverage in Dagens Industri and Byggindustrin - we’re officially live.
