1) Establishing and review production schedule to ensure customer priority are met. Understand overall capacity loading requirements and needs, and develop pack plan for different products.
2) Managing changes, monitor and control of production schedule performance to meet shipment requirement. Start up plan to reduce aging inventory and clearing reworks boards, yet control the release of materials for kitting to production floor.
3) To command the production schedule of shared equipment resources. Liaising with site focus factory managers and supervisors to prioritize the work orders.
4) Responsible for plan and translate urgent customer orders into production schedules.
5) Review daily loading and reschedule if necessary.
6) Monitor and follow up closely on production performance and expedite lots to ensure shipments to customers are on time.
7) Work together with Demand Analyst to scheduled shop orders and pick lists to Raw Materials Store for kitting of materials to production.
8) Expedite material releases & production schedules to communicate the changing needs of the manufacturing focus factory, and understand shortage fulfillment dates. Assist in reschedule production when applicable.
9) Provide Instructions to production lots due to deviations as per engineering requests.
10) Responsible on planning products for rework purposes due to quality or engineering related issues.
11) Coordinate with other departments (Materials, Production, Engineer, QA, SQE, Finance, Program etc) on related issues to ensure the smooth flow of production.
