Chief Economist and Supply Chain Strategy

❒	Created and Managing the GEODIS World Lab, the Research and Consulting Department within GEODIS. The team is composed of multi-cultural/disciplinary talents proposing an outside-in dimension to the company's strategy: from economic growth to sustainability, from investment opportunities to impact assessment.

❒	The World Lab contributes to GEODIS' strategy through four channels:

•	Strategic Idea Generation: non-solicited development of strategic ideas stemming from the observation and analysis of the external environment across different dimensions: sustainability, economics, politics, regulatory, risk, innovation. The ideas/solutions are generated within the lab, presented to the appropriate internal stakeholder at various stages of completion and finalized together with the relevant line of business through a smooth, integrated process completely internal to the company.
•	On-demand Consultancy: strategic consultancy role solicited by GEODIS' lines of businesses in the management of their operations and strategy.
•	High-powered Information: producing regular and newsflow-based reports on a multiplicity of themes: global economic analysis, country/company risk assessment, carriers selection, trade flows/ lanes monitoring, in-depth analysis of competitors strategy and financial results and others. Due to the independence and integrity of the World Lab production, reports and ah-hoc consultancy services are directly sold to some of GEODIS' customers.
•	Ecosystem approach on sustainability: create the conditions for GEODIS to grab opportunities in the creation and management of digital thematic ecosystems in embedding sustainability within the core business. Through holistic impact assessment and scenario analysis raise the awareness of the ecosystem of GEODIS' stakeholders to confront the issue of sustainability as a community in order to achieve measurable results and increase business' resilience.
