Providing Needs Assessments as part of the Disabled Students Allowance process which include recommending assistive technology, equipment and 'human' support that is bespoke for their own needs and circumstances. 
Advising students and being their point of contact for all support related queries and needs. Working with and supporting academic staff to understand their support responsibilities. 
Staff training and support to ensure that academic staff felt confident to understand different conditions and reasonable accommodations available.

Roles and Responsibilities
- coordinating the establishment of two new academy schools where the university was acting as lead sponsor. This involved working with the local council, community, students, academic and support staff and families. 
- working with key stakeholders to manage the transition smoothly including local business and infrastructure. 
- designing the curriculum framework alongside academic staff.
- working with students and parents at the schools to develop engagement with the academy ethos and plans. This included planning and hosting events, activities and other opportunities for feedback and consultation. 
- facilitating planning meetings with multiple priorities and targets, reporting on the development of each on a regular basis.

Senior Project Coordinator

Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art

Developing an education and engagement program to accompany each of the exhibitions that the gallery shows alongside their own collection. 
Working with local schools, colleges and universities to deliver bespoke activities and tours based on their learning needs and outcomes. 
Engaging with local community groups such as Mind, refugees and asylum seekers groups, Shelter, local addiction centres. 
I also delivered and designed a program of events and activities for under 5's, older people and family groups.

Education Officer

Creative Partnerships 

Coordination of a range of Arts Council funded projects across the Teesside region. This included working with creative practitioners, ensuring budgets were met and working with local schools and community groups to develop participation. 
Evaluation and monitoring of all projects.

ARC Stockton Arts Centre

Developing new education and outreach projects for the centre including applying for funding and coordinating existing projects.
Putting together press releases, managing social media, giving interviews and preparing advertisements.
