- Creating, executing and refining the Group's marketing strategy in order to build brand engagement, increase client retention rates and create opportunity for cross sales. This involves creating quarterly, targeted campaigns and content calendar. 
- Designing and creating email content for core client segments three times a year and producing Telegraph magazine once a year. This includes, copy production, editing, design, print procurement, production of a digital edition and promotion.
- Writing and editing copy for company literature, brochures, articles and advertorials. 
- Writing, editing, uploading and optimising web content, with a particular focus on the news section. Since joining the company, traffic to the news section has increased more than 300%.
- Social media strategy and management. I monitor brand mentions, create content and share updates on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google Posts. All three channels have seen consistent audience growth since June 2016.
- PR and media relations. This includes identifying opportunities, as well as writing and distributing releases. I have secured mentions in both local and industry press since joining the company.

Senior Marketing Executive

- Developed and executed successful content marketing strategies, both for Ad-Rank Media and its clients.
- Produced content audits, competitor analysis reports, keyword research documents, editorial calendars and social media plans.
- Created a range written and graphic content for blogs, websites, landing pages, email marketing campaigns, social media updates and PR, while editing the work of the in-house writing team.
- Managed key accounts, which included maintaining client relationships and ensuring that projects were completed on time and on budget.
- Produced and distributed press releases for clients. Secured coverage in The Daily Mail, The Express, Conde Nast Traveller, Lonely Planet, Yahoo Travel, MSN, AOL and Unilad, amongst others.
- Assisted with new business as necessary.
- Managed a team of writers and junior members of staff, hosting a series of weekly workshops designed to develop skills and experience.
- Heavily involved with the recruitment of new staff.
- Learned to use markdown to create web-ready content.

Content Marketing Manager

SoSocial.com

- Developed content strategy and editorial calendar for launch of SoSocial.com. This included planning and producing SEO-friendly copy for the website and associated landing pages, as well as a blog schedule and social media strategy.
- Launched an influencer outreach programme. By identifying and interviewing industry influencers, not only was I able to generate engaging and informative articles for the site, but drive additional traffic when interviewees shared the articles with their fans and followers.
- Generated email marketing content, from planning and writing a 30-day welcome sequence, to creating an ongoing email marketing plan. This not only required an in-depth understanding of the company's eCRM system and marketing automation tools, but email marketing best practice too.
- Managed multiple social media channels, including Facebook, Facebook Groups, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram, in order to build buzz around the launch of the site, drive traffic and increase mailing list sign-ups. Not only would I plan and schedule posts, but research trending topics and keywords to secure the highest levels of engagement. I would also monitor the success of each post to identify which message resonated with our audience in order hone future activity. My biggest success came when Hollywood star Alec Baldwin shared a link to one of my blogs on Twitter.
- Ongoing keyword research was important to the role, ensuring that the site started to rank for key terms on Google.
- Developed and implemented a style sheet in order to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
- Ran digital marketing and social media webinars using GoToWebinar. This gave a real insight into how useful webinars can be as part of the marketing mix, while learning how to set-up and promote a successful session.
- Managing SoSocial's Social Media Marketing Survey, from promotion and analysis to the publication of results.

- Overseeing the production of a large number of magazines for clients in a wide range of industries. This includes creating flatplans, commissioning features, writing articles, conducting interviews, subediting, editing in layout using Quark or InDesign, proofreading and making client amends.
- Managing day-to-day relationships with my clients to ensure each publication fits with their brand and marketing strategy.
- Liaising with internal advertising teams to ensure that there is commercial appeal for each feature.
- Running reader surveys to monitor the development of each title.
- Managing the production of nine eNewsletters every month and monitoring relevant data (open rates, CTRs, etc) to ensure that content is appealing and meeting targets.
- Running social media workshops.
- Advising on Archant Dialogue's social media strategy.
- Creating and testing Facebook adverts for clients including Harley-Davidson.
- Creating and monitoring social listening dashboards for a range of clients using Brandwatch.
- Working with the local university to offer work experience placements for final year students, providing an opportunity for them to gain useful skills in a busy editorial department.

- Planning and implementing marketing campaigns for a wide range of clients, from big name brands, like ASDA and Hawkin's Bazaar, to smaller start-ups.
- Producing accurate and concise copy for clients. This includes anything from website content and blogs to social network updates and brand guidelines.
