Business Development Representative (Language Tech)

U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC)

Serves as the Supervisor of Sales Quality Assurance, monitored and validated the accuracy of over 3,600 contracts, negotiated with prospects in order to close the final sales deal; supervised a team of 10 personnel.

Managed the quality assurance of over 3,600 applications for candidates and ensured all applications were in accordance with policies set forth by the U.S. Department of the Army and the U.S. Department of Defense.

Communicated with potential hires to provide clarity on expected tasks, compensation and policies.

Set, enforced and explained HR policies to team members to cultivate a compliant and satisfied workforce. 

Directed each phase of the hiring process, encompassing employment verification, employee relations, investigations, criminal background checks, and onboarding with distribution of new-hire documents to the appropriate department heads.

Sales Quality Assurance Manager (Senior Guidance Counselor)

Directed all aspects of sales and marketing, operations, strategy, training, talent development, progression planning, sales/business development, and coaching while directing daily operations for the organizational readiness and counsel of 46 area sales managers and sales specialists. 

Operated in a fast-paced, dynamic sales/recruiting role for a district encompassing seven different locations. 

Consulted and advised senior leadership on various topics, including sales operations, market segmentation and penetration, performance tracking, prospecting analysis, training, reporting, auditing, and improvement. Served as the district's subject matter expert (SME) on sales/business development and recruiting operations. 

Assessed all area sales managers and sales specialists on a consistent basis, reviewed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and considered potential for professional growth and progression.

Achieved substantial growth by using market expertise and business intelligence to make proactive decisions resulting in exceeding goals in quality enlistments and being the #1 ranked district in the region.

District Sales Manager (Recruiting Company First Sergeant)

Served as the District Director of Sales Training Management; performed sales training and assessments; designed, developed, implemented, and evaluated the executive leaderships' training plan; supported approximately 100 personnel providing trends analysis, training, and sharing of best practices. Managed the U.S. Army Digital Training Management System (DTMS) which plans/tracks all quarterly, semi-annual and annual training requirements and adherence for the organization.

Evaluated full life cycle of high-volume recruiting operations and pipeline development of an organization comprised of more than 100 area sales managers and sales specialists in a diverse environment.

Conceptualized and created innovative and effective training content and curriculum.
Examined current operational practices, evaluated effectiveness and implemented new strategies to increase productivity throughout the organization.

Championed implementation of the Army Learning Management System (ALMS), which documented the training history of over 100 area sales managers and sales specialists.

Manager of Sales Training and Development

Managed and led an Army Recruiting Center consisting of 15 sales specialists who are active duty Army/Army Reserve recruiters, and managed newly enlisted Future Soldiers. 

Directed sales/business development, qualified lead generation, prospecting, pipeline goals, interview, sales closing goals and customer success were met and exceeded. Provided professional development of subordinates and accountable for the morale, health, welfare and discipline of all assigned.

Implemented and managed the recruiting center recruiting management system (CRM).

Achieved enlisting over 180 new Soldiers annually for the active and reserve Army components. Exceeded goal requirements at 140%.

Maintained control and accountability of government property valued at $100,000.

Maintained administrative areas in the recruiting center.

Evaluated performance of subordinate Soldiers and provided guidance, leadership and motivation in making improvements and exceeding goals in specific key metrics.

Area Sales Manager (Recruiting Center Commander)

Conducted outbound and inbound prospecting, lead generation/refinement and pre-qualification activities focusing on ideal customer profiles and right buyer personas via telephone, face-to-face, email and social media, through networking, during community presentations and demos in order to provide a steady flow of qualified prospects in the pipeline, consistently exceeding goals in key metrics at over 150%.

Conducted sales interviews and consulted applicants based on their eligibility, qualifications, pain points and showed them how the U.S. Army could best help them achieve their goals, thus improving their personal and professional lives. Closed on, scheduled and executed enlistment contract processing for applicants. Ensured customer success of all newly enlisted Future Soldiers beyond the day they ship to Basic Training in order to maintain positive relationships and a solid referral base.

Conducted follow-up activities on leads, prospects, and applicants. Maintained a network of educators, parents, civic leaders and other influencers of the target market in order to ensure a steady flow of qualified pipeline. 

Selected to be a facilitator of a new U.S. Army sales force automation program based on a demonstrated ability to train fellow recruiters.
