Global Accountability (EMEA, LATAM, APAC and NAFTA) for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service on both our Soda (Corporate Red & Blue, Independent Bottlers and Independent Brands) and Beer Accounts (Brewers and Craft Brewers). Responsible for all Global Customer facing organizational activities. Grew exports to all continents except Antarctica. Expanded our Beer portfolio in the US, Asia (with a big focus in South Korea) and Latin America developing new go-to markets and pushing products from the companies that make Aalberts Dispense Technologies; Taprite, DSI and Vin Service.  Managed a team of 11 people compromising, Sales, Key Accounts, Customer Service and Marketing. Represented Aalberts Dispense Technologies in world wide Trade Shows and Industry meetings. Managed and Co-Design all our booths and trade show materials. Part of the Senior Management Team. Met twice a year with Aalberts Industries CEO & Executive team to present Strategic Planning, Forecasts and Results.

SVP National & International Sales and US Beer Development

Accountable for International Sales, revenue developing activities and channel penetration for both our Beer and Soda (Red, Blue and Independent) product portfolio. Responsible for Market expansion through existing customers, new prospects and strategic partnerships in North America, Europe and emerging Markets in Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe.  Worked with the engineering teams of the three companies in the development of new products, IoT Solutions and also to consolidate current products. Managed Key Accounts. Responsible for a team of 9 people in the Sales, Marketing and Customer Service departments. Worked with the Due Diligence Aalberts Industries team in defining new company acquisitions. Part of the Senior Management team responsible for the integration of Schroeder America and Vin Service to Aalberts Dispensing Technologies. Represented the company in International, National Trade Shows and Industry Meetings. Responsible for developing our image and exposure on those events.

Managed a team of two sales representatives and assisted with Marketing activities. Managed Global customer facing organizational activities through trade shows and industry meetings. Managed all departments in a Window and Door manufacturing business; sell, define and design in accordance to customer needs windows and doors, oversaw material purchasing, manufacturing and installations of Kömmerling PVC windows and doors in the Northeast of Mexico.  Authorized distributor of WeatherShield Windows and Doors for the Northeast of Mexico and Southern Texas. Worked with architects, real state developers and independent clients on their windows and door projects. Responsible for 10 factory workers and a Showroom with 2 sales people. Developed all Marketing material for brand promotion and recognition.

CEMEX

Responsible for Federal Government projects with an emphasis in social development ministries and agencies. Making CEMEX the top of mind for Federal building programs through continuous lobbying with Secretaries of State and Area Directors closing innovative partnerships. Orienting the company to be socially responsible and presenting it as one via conferences in International and National trade shows and conventions.

•  Closed nationwide contracts with SEDESOL (Social Development Ministry) to provide construction material packages to Housing State Institutions. 

•  Promoted with every State Government the use of concrete floors in houses that still had soil floors.

•  Started programs with Migrant Associations in the US where for every dollar given, Municipal and State Governments matched their investment (3X1 Programs).  CEMEX coordinated and gave all the technical advisory for road constructions, public parks, community centers, etc. and had first 	hand in the sale of materials.

•  Represented CEMEX in meetings with different Private Development Foundations (Chrysler 	Foundation, Televisa Foundation, Banamex Foundation, Telmex Foundation, etc.).

GOVERNMENT RELATIONS AND SALES DIRECTOR

Maintain close and professional relations with the all levels of Governments in the Central and 	Southern States of Mexico. Innovate and find new ways to use CEMEX products and make the brand Top of Mind Awareness in city and state officials. Spearhead sales teams from all areas in the company, together with marketing and R&D to deliver integrated packages. Help poorer communities by developing cheaper and longer lasting housing projects and infrastructure.

•  Lobbied with State Governors and Municipal officials in order to promote sustainability laws 	where the use of ready-mix Concrete was mandatory for new streets and avenues.

•  Signed a contract with Banobras (National Development Bank) in which CEMEX provided all the required technical studies to the different State and Municipal Governments in order for them to 	apply for National Construction Credits involving projects requiring the use of cement and ready-	mix.

•  Economical, fast build concrete houses were developed and presented to the State of Yucatan in order to solve the reconstruction of 8,000 homes destroyed by Hurricane Isidore. 

•  Soil-Cement roads for rural communities were developed and sold to various States. This involved the use of cement mixed with soil in order to have cheap longer lasting dirt roads.

GOVERNMENT RELATIONS MANAGER

Promexma Manager position was shared with that of Strategy Manager. CEMEX owned and operated construction materials 	stores. Managed 7 stores in the Central Region of Mexico with a team of 35 people.

•  Elaborating product mixes and offering the whole specter of construction products catapulted 		margins from 5-7 percents to the 20´s.

•  Leadership and empowerment resulted in the growth and retainment of quality sales producers. Five of the 7 stores turned red numbers positive for the first time since their opening.

As Strategy Manager we studied principal markets in the Country and together with the sales force in each city, benchmarked sales, marketing and development plans. Managed teams of 5 to 10 people from across the country who concentrated in the market to be studied for two to three weeks.
 
•  Plans overviewed with the Boston Consulting Group and presented to Top Management.             	If approved they were implemented and shared with other regions.

•  Market shares were grown from the high 30’s to over 50% in the central Sates.

•  Collaborated as an instructor to coach new sales personnel in CEMEX’s School of Sales.

PROMEXMA AND STRATEGY MANAGER CENTRAL STATES

As manager for the South of Mexico City drastic changes were made in the way sale representatives were attending their clients. A lot of corruption and favoritism had to be stopped.  Emphasis was made on developing small and middle size clients.

•	Increased sales in 10%

•	Opened 30 new clients reaching 350 distributors.

•	Detected and reported sales personnel embedded corruption practices that eventually would reach the Regional Director.

Institutional Sales was the negotiating channel for construction companies with national coverage.  Deals closed represented million dollar transactions and included highway constructions, housing development projects, dams, etc.

• Closed deals in ready-mix highways and housing developments.

• Invited by Central Headquarters to become part of strategy teams, guided by the Boston Consulting Group, to brainstorm commercial plans intended for specific zones in the country.
