Worked alongside the communications and community engagement department to increase online interactions and promote upcoming museum programs. 

-Created biweekly email marketing campaigns for upcoming programs and exhibitions to be sent to museum’s general mailing list of over 45,000 members
-Developed unique written and digital content for social media accounts including over 30 Tumblr Blog posts and weekly Pinterest updates
-Improved current search engine optimization using Google Adwords to direct visitors to museum programs

Communications and Community Engagement Intern

Rotofugi Designer Toy Store and Gallery

Worked along side the owners of the Lincoln Park designer toy store in curating a section of their store to be made up of a variety of products by local handmade artists. Responsibilities involved recruiting artists and managing the inventory of the handmade products for the department. 
The selection process involved researching the artists, reviewing portfolios and interviewing the local artists resulting in a refined selection of handmade products furthering the store’s brand in Chicago for art and local goods. This position also included establishing working consignment contracts to validate the relationship between vendors and the store.
