What is necessary to market a product or service well and what are the basic strategies that can be easily implemented? It doesn't matter whether you work in marketing or whether you are simply fundamentally interested in the subject. You can use and recognise the discussed contents everywhere and, if you know them, react appropriately. This and more in my podcast "Marketing in the head", almost on every podcast platform.

In the company Territory, which belongs to Bertelsmann Group, I worked in the Tech and Data department.

My tasks included: 

1. implementation of the data basis (channels and topics) of various social listening analyses with Talkwalker

2. creation of dashboards in Talkwalker (brand and competitor analyses, topic reporting, app reviews)

3. creation of social media reporting (conversion funnel, community building funnel) for clients' owned channels with Google Looker and PowerPoint

4. SEO consulting (keyword research, keyword potential analysis, website performance, internal linking optimization, snippet optimization, visibility audits, etc.) with Searchmetrics, Sistrix, Google Search Console and Keywordtool.io

5. web analytics consulting (tracking implementation, bug fixing, audits regarding data validity, GA4 migrations) with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics

6. report automation (for web, social media, cost, lead, conversion data) with Google Sheets and Google Looker. 

7. support and creation of acquisition documents

8. further development of PowerPoint presentations for technical presentations at conferences

9. support in the preparation of pitches 

10. support in planning and conducting job interviews

11. writing a company-related bachelor thesis with the topic "Implications and perspectives of artificial intelligence for the agency business".

Marketing Management Student

I had the opportunity to be part of the High Potentials Crossing Borders project. This German-Dutch university cooperation project is aimed at talented students and offers an excellent opportunity to build international networks. By participating, I not only had the chance to connect with talented students and mentors from Germany and the Netherlands, but also to gain valuable insights into the working environment and way of operating in the Netherlands through my Dutch mentor.
In addition to the networking opportunities, there were also regular workshops within the project that helped to further develop my skills and knowledge in the field of cross-border cooperation.

L'Oréal

At L'Oréal, I worked for the La Roche Posay brand from the Active Cosmetics Division in the Digital Marketing and Brand Communication department. 

My tasks included: 

1. responsibility for tracker maintenance and tracking.
2. influencer outreach and newsletter creation incl. tracking of the CRM roadmap
3. press dossier and handling of press enquiries
4. carrying out product tests
5. optimisation and maintenance of the website (incl. creation of PDP and articles)

6. independent execution of the project "Digital-Activation-X-Mas-Campaign" (incl. selection of products for the campaign, communication with external agencies, conception and briefing of ads)

7. collaboration on the introduction of the Click-And-Collect function on the website (incl. compilation of relevant product data, communication with the headquarters in Paris and cooperation with an external consultant)

Digital Marketing & Brand Communication - La Roche Posay

Mercatura Warenhandel GmbH

At Mercatura, I successfully built and designed the online shop/website for the Dailydream brand. 

My responsibilities included:

1. strategic conception and successful implementation of the online shop/website, including selection of key performance indicators (KPIs), appealing design and functionality, linking with a leading retail management system (JTL), selection of efficient plug-ins and optimised SEO adjustments.

2. comprehensive analysis of the target group and conception of appropriate measures for adaptation.

3. independent communication and briefing of external agencies.

4. Conception and implementation of content marketing and customer loyalty measures to build strong customer loyalty.

Werkbund-Werkstatt-Nürnberg

In the foreground of the work in the Werkbund Werkstatt Nürnberg are the basics of design. The Werkbund offers systematic introductions to the areas of drawing, surface & color and body & space. The basic design work is accompanied by concrete applications in the material-related workshops for wood, glass, metal and textiles. The work in the workshops is supplemented by seminars in design and model making, art history, perspective drawing, theater, communication, art theory, design theory, as well as exhibition visits and excursions. In addition to learning how to handle materials and tools and becoming acquainted with handicraft techniques, the workshop work imparts important experience in the planning and working process, from implementation to the presentation of the finished work piece.

Hey, I'm Luis,
It's cool that you're here. ☺️
 
🚀 After school, I moved over 500 kilometres away to study Marketing Management in the Netherlands. Why did I do that? I wanted to see something new, have new experiences, get to know a different culture and see what happens when I jump into cold water. True to the motto: "I've never done this before, but I'll manage somehow!"
 
🚀 During my bachelor's degree, I was able to spend a semester abroad in South Korea, work in digital marketing and brand communication at L'Oréal and support a data & analytics department at a Bertelsmann agency as a working student.
 
🚀 After my bachelor's thesis on the use of artificial intelligence, I finished my degree with Cum Laude.
 
And now?
🚀 Today I support a Strategy & Business Development department at Siemens Healthineers in the area of innovation.
 
🎧 I also have my own podcast. The podcast "Marketing in your head" is all about - who would have thought it - marketing.
In the podcast, I want to share current strategies and principles with you that are important in marketing.
And to make the whole thing even more valuable for you, there are always interviews with people from various marketing areas.
