It is the new favourite agency sales pitch.

I am seeing business owners panic about this and thought I’d make a post around it. 

People seem to think their current SEO is obsolete. 

They think they need "Generative Engine Optimization. Or new AI Solutions."

Here is the honest truth: Don’t fall for the hype.

AI overviews are just a display change. 

It is a new way to show data. But the data itself? That hasn't changed at all.

If you want to rank in AI results: Focus on the fundamentals you already know.

Answer the simple questions your clients ask. 
- Who is this service for? 
- How much does it cost? 
- Why is it the best option?
-  Where can I get the best deal?

If your content answers these clearly: You are already "AI Friendly."
