The technical foundation of the Business Development team is comprised of three key components; Materials, Process, and Design. I use my mechanical engineering background to serve as the technical expert on product and application design.  More specifically, my role is to understand and deliver the desired functional performance of developed products and solutions to the customer.  Additionally, I support the team in market analysis and research, conducting VOC exercises and business case justifications.

-Determine functional application performance criteria and identify potential design/performance innovations that would help win a marked competitive advantage.  
-Objectively assess business attractiveness (including strategic fit) of opportunities.
-Help accelerate Team responsiveness to seize and capitalize on the best opportunities.
-Accelerate development from Idea Generation to Product Launch.

Business Development Engineer - Design

-	Support customers with current and developmental applications, recommend/develop products based on the needs of specific applications.
-	Travel to key customers to better understand applications to provide solutions that fit their needs. 
-	Work with Applications, Manufacturing and Sales / Marketing groups to drive improved processes and new business growth.
-	Perform Engineering tests and experiments.
-	Work with/develop Polyurethane materials to apply them to specific applications. 
-	Operate in accordance with established ISO procedures governing product development and  customer related processes.
-	Effectively partner with sales force to ensure customer satisfaction.
-	Effectively interface with the manufacturing department to develop and insure processibility of new products. 
-	Provide technical expertise in the evaluation of new raw materials and component suppliers.
-	Develop new test equipment and/or procedures to validate product performance.

Applications Engineer

Thermacore

Focusing primarily on DARPA MACE projects.  

Work includes: 
Heat pipe and vapor chamber building and processing, performance testing and improvement, cold plate assembly, data collection and entry.

Engineering Intern

Design of Eddy Current Separator Machine using rare earth permanent magnets to sort ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

Engineering Design Services Intern

Projects involving production improvement, process automation, research prototyping, machine & component design.

Extensive 3D modeling experience using Solidworks.
Basic experience with NI LabView, COMSOL Multiphysics.
Basic experience using mill & lathe.
