An opportunity to lead the Unsecured Portfolio Optimisation team. The key mission of our team is to streamline and enhance the way Westpac’s Unsecured Consumer Business operates.

Working alongside our Product, Marketing, and Collections stakeholders we’re driving positive change. 

Key Achievements include:
•	Definition of the FY18 Strategy
•	Commencing Monthly Risk Review Sessions encompassing all key stakeholders 
•	Fine Tuning the Authorisation strategy to approve 500,000 additional customer interactions p.a.

Senior Risk Manager

Comprehensive Credit Reporting (CCR) is arguably the biggest change to unsecured credit since scorecards were introduced decades ago. The role (in addition to my current position) is leading the Policy work stream for Westpac. 
This includes definition, management & implementation of all CCR related enhancements to Westpac Unsecured Credit Policy. 
Key Highlights Include: 
• Facilitation of Policy think-tanks 
• Leading Legal / Compliance roadshows 
• Establishment and Lead of Executive Oversight Committee

Comprehensive Credit Reporting - Workstream Leader

An exciting and challenging role that affords me the opportunity to explore areas of opportunity that enhance the service proposition to customers of the Westpac Group through prudent risk management, innovative thinking and agile execution of initiatives.
 
Covering Mortgages, Credit Cards and Transaction Accounts with a key focus on Credit, Operational and Fraud Risk; My current role is thought provoking and allows me to leverage key skills developed during my MBA including; strategic management, critical thinking and a Kaizen style mindset of continuous improvement.

Key achievements include:
  -  Design, Development and Launch of VBA Automated Decision Engine
  -  Credit Assignment Strategy Enhancement
  -  Detailed process mapping and policy documentation

Product Risk Manager

Citi

Manage Risk for Bank of Queensland, Suncorp and Card Services Credit Card portfolios whilst executing upon strategic initiatives, trigger based portfolio actions and provision of real time analysis to key business stakeholders. 
A key focus is genuine business partnership, challenging what is deemed to be the norm and providing bespoke solutions that both mitigate risk and encourage growth within the portfolio.

Senior Risk Analyst - Partnerships

Assess areas of opportunity throughout core departments within Citibank's consumer business, liaise closely with the Senior Leadership team and provide regular reports to the CEO.

Key Acheivements include:
  - Launch of new mortgage acquisition channel resulting in over $2 million in acquisitions. 
  - Research, design, construction and marketing of Microsoft Sharepoint site used to service key internal stakeholders. 
  - Successfully lead the team of Management Associates during a core Citibank charity event raising in excess of $8,000. 
  - Represented the Australian consumer franchise during a 2 week executive development program in Singapore.

Management Associate

Dual role encompassing in depth account analysis and portfolio level risk management.

Key achievements include: 
  - Core participant in successful migration of Diners Club operations from Melbourne to Sydney.   - Provision of real time credit decisions for Diners club customers wishing to purchase high value items 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and held unsecured delegation of $150,000. 
  - Introduced strategies to increase business profit whilst managing risk levels, identified key opportunities within the Diners Club business and created and facilitated in depth training sessions for all key diners club operations personnel. 
  - Enhanced current SAS reporting tools using SQL and provided regular reports to the Australian country head of risk.
  - Review and revise credit policies to ensure compliance with regulatory change and Citibank   global policy.

Risk Analyst - Diners Club International

During Citibank's purchase of the Suncorp Credit Card portfolio I undertook a 6 month secondment and relocation to Brisbane to represent Citibank Risk Management whilst working within Suncorp. 

Key Achievements include:
  - Successful dissemination of Citibank lending policy within Suncorp. 
  - Provision of regular in depth reporting to Citibank head office. 
  - Lead collections drive and reduced loss rates to record lows.
