I’ve been in sales my whole career, and attracted to companies that are mission led, and want to do good. I’ve been with Perlego for over 3 years because of their mission to make education more accessible. As a start up we move fast, and working within Higher Education the industry moves faster so it’s important we are agile, open to learning and work on creating the best service available. I’m curious, driven and enjoy learning new things. In my current role I work with universities across the UK helping them to deliver on their strategic priorities; attracting students, ensuring they are getting the most value and improving the overall teaching and learning experience. I speak to senior members of management from Vice Chancellors, Deans of education and faculties, Directors of Library and more. Anyone that really is looking for ways to improve the student experience. Outside of EdTech I love learning about AI, Blockchain and the Web 3 ecosystem. Outside of work, I’m based in Nottingham with easy access to the Peak District - you can see from my profile picture I have dog; a Weimaraner called Prudence. She keeps me on my feet and so we often go take long walks and explore more of the beautiful UK. With a recent house purchase I’m also doing a lot around the house, fixing (and breaking) stuff, painting and grumbling about how expensive everything is.
