As an intern at Capital Markets Brokers, I was responsible for:
•	Analyzing international stock markets alongside traders and trade financial securities (stocks and bonds) through the Interactive Brokers software and others for clients’ portfolios.
•	Researching on companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius by culminating information using various methods including PESTLE and SWOT analysis.
•	Working with sales representatives to help manage projects for corporate clients and obtained a fair overview of investment dealer practices in Mauritius and from international markets and learned various aspects of the capital market industry.

Investment Research and Trading

Luqman is a M&A Senior Consultant at Deloitte, one of the world's largest consulting firms. He has been working in the M&A, Strategy, Transactions, Financial Advisory and Corporate Finance divisions, from working alongside the Financial Advisory team and C-levels in transaction deals to project managing due diligence, valuations, and business plan projects in the EMEA region.

Luqman developed a strong entrepreneurial mind and skill sets in both fintech and digital transformation through his experience as a FinTech Ambassador and Consultant working directly with founder CEOs and collaborating closely with MAFH's diverse ecosystem of fintech startups.

Luqman is currently undertaking a MSc in Applied Artificial Intelligence with FinTech at IU. He earned a Bachelor's from Curtin University. Through being the first FinTech Ambassador, he helped launched the Future Fintech Programme for all universities in Mauritius to better the FinTech ecosystem in the country.
