A Golden Key recipient who has spent the past 24 years of my professional career developing and maintaining ISO certified QMS’s in the Energy and Nuclear generation business. The bulk of my QM experience exceeds 17 years in Nuclear and has afforded me the opportunity to be involved in the international supplier auditing and management arena which includes the US and Europe. I have implemented the quality and safety requirements for nuclear installations (RD-0034) and other local and international Nuclear regulatory requirements which include NQA-1 the UK's ONR. I have also gained experience in national auditing outside the energy sector (Woolworths, South African Airways, etc). My experience in Eskom commenced in Distribution as a technician in Field services, progressed through the Works Management function with particular focus on Quality and staff development through to Nuclear Project Quality Management. I am therefore familiar with most aspects of the electrical utility business. My experience in the Nuclear QM arena includes developing systems, procedures and performing the auditing and the reporting function internally and externally on suppliers. I am a certified QMS, and NQA-1 Lead auditor, as well as a registered professional Business Systems Manager in SA and the UK. I possess a B-tech Degree in Quality Management together with related qualifications. I have also been trained in ISO45001, 14001, 19011, and 9001. I have also been trained in Project Management which assisted me in previous QMS development activities. I would like to continue using my immense and vast knowledge and experience to develop younger auditors and assist in improving and developing IMS’s to exceed that of our international colleagues.
