Elevator

2019-now: I run Elevator's Creative Accelerator programme- working with people that make and do brilliant things, helping them to understand how they can develop and move forward with their business ambitions for their creative practice. I specialise in helping people refine and communicate what it is that they're about. I use my background in theatre, and love of helping people make the most of themselves to bring confidence out in the artists I work with. I love what I do. 

2013-2017: Project managing programmes that encourage employability and entrepreneurship in young people. Working mostly in partnership with the Prince's Trust to deliver employability programmes in the North East, as well as developing and delivering projects with Elevator. A rewarding role that involves using teaching skills and analysing the effectiveness of programmes to get best possible outcomes for the young people I work with.

I turned my dance hobby into a business that grew from one class to three in my local area.  During my time at Lorraine Law and Sweet Venues, I grew my side business by seeking out further contracts and qualifications.  Since taking on the role at Enterprise, I have downsized to one class per week with a solid core group of clients who are very enthusiastic about my classes and teaching style.

I worked with Lorraine Law Jeweller on and off throughout University and then between working at the Edinburgh Festival with Sweet Venues.  My time here allowed me to use my customer service skills, and also develop training programmes for new staff.

At Sweet Venues I was responsible for editing and composing press releases on behalf of our clients and the venue itself, developing marketing strategies for clients and the venue, developing and liaising with press contacts, and staff training.  This position was highly enjoyable as it was so creative and rewarding.

Swarovski

Taken on as Supervisor, then promoted to Assistant Manager.  During my time at Swarovski, I developed my customer service, visual merchandising and training skills.  I left to take on the Marketing position at Sweet Venues.
