My communications career spans leadership roles in internal, external and executive communications, as well as advertising and promotions. I’ve edited newsletters, facilitated workshops, managed the press, written speeches, and marketed products. Throughout, I’ve built and led teams filled with smart and driven professionals who I hope have learned as much from me as I  have from them.

I’ve enjoyed exploring many creative personal and professional endeavors. Each has contributed to who I am today: I’m a graduate of Chicago’s Second City improv training. I’ve worked as a retail merchandiser, floral designer, and bartender. My most recent personal endeavor is serving as a hospice volunteer. I work with patients to capture their life stories and turn them into something they can proudly leave behind for their loved ones.
