There are 3 chapters in my life. And clearly the last is the most exciting. The first chapter was about school, engineering college and B School. The boring precision of academic monotony was broken by meeting my best friend - Subhajit - who later became my husband. The second chapter was about banking - in ANZ Grindlays and Standard Chartered. I loved banking. But I was tired of being a small decimal point in a global bank and delighted to be part of building a new bank at IDFC - where I was the fourth employee to be hired. The best part of this chapter, though, was welcoming our daughter, Proteeti. The third chapter in my life is about aspiration. Building Aspire For Her has been the most fulfilling part of my career. When we launched, I drew a line in the sand - of adding a million women to the economy by 2025, 10 million by 2030. Every day we are a little closer to unleashing the trillion dollar potential of our country. I am grateful to meet some of the most inspiring leaders in the country and play a small role in stories of courage and resilience - women who make us proud every day. This chapter is getting written. I would love to see your name in it.
