My name is Mads, I worked very hard for 25 years trying to get rich and happy. I had good jobs that I loved, a nice family, and possessions. But I was neither rich nor happy. At the age of 48, I could no longer work 80 hours per week in Corporate. So I had to reinvent myself. From a position of psychological safety (supported by my wife) I embarked on a creative, low-cost, transformation journey into the unknown to: - Fear less - Need less - Trust myself - Start taking risks - Experiment with how to get a rich and happy life I flipped the script on my whole life - Instead of thinking how much I have and how to get more - I asked myself how little do I need and how to get less. I experienced that very long walks in nature in complete disconnect gave me the present moment where I finally found a Rich and Happy life. Rich and happy means being content, living in the present moment, and helping others. I have shared my journey on Linkedin as a life case (and a business case), with the only intention and hope, it could be an inspiration to others. I learn from the feedback and keep learning. Now I have 42.000 friends from all over the world. They are from all walks of life, all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs. The sheer brain power, life power, and love power in this network are mind-blowing. It humbles me, while it also motivates and energizes me. I believe that we can co-create and grow together from a position of safety, when we need less and fear less. I have cut my costs by 60%, and doing another 50% cost cut, so, my total cost cut will be 80%. I will try to do even more. I come from an angle of life, people, age-old wisdom, spirituality and faith – the mindset is also used by the most innovative and profitable companies in the world, by top athletes, in engineering, high-stake negotiations, marketing, building anti-fragile systems, environmental matters, sustainability, healthcare, and much more.
