As an Identity Access Management (IAM) Integration Specialist at Pixida, I play a pivotal role in supporting the integration of IAM IT systems for a premium partner in the automotive industry. Currently, I work as a Product Owner with an international and intercultural team of technicians, engineers, and managers. I oversee the IAM support team, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and project goals. Furthermore, I also operate as an IAM IT Support Engineer, analyzing and resolving errors to ensure system integrity and performance.

INESC Technology and Science - Associate Laboratory

As a Research Fellow at INESCTEC, I specialize in developing predictive classification supervised machine learning models for the detection of plant bacterial diseases. My work as an FCT Doctoral Fellow (SFRH/BD/146564/2019) revolves around the theme of "Detection and early identification of plant diseases caused by bacteria based on proximal sensing from a precision agriculture perspective."

I am an integral member of CRIIS (Robotics in Industry and Intelligent Systems) within the TRIBE lab (Laboratory of Robotics and IoT for Smart Precision Agriculture and Forestry), where I contribute to cutting-edge research initiatives in the field.

Beyond my research contributions, I actively engage in fostering diversity and inclusion within INESCTEC as a member of the Advisory Group of the Diversity and Inclusion Commission. Additionally, I serve as a dedicated member of the Intercultural Ambassadors Network, promoting cross-cultural understanding and collaboration within the organization.

During my tenure at ISAGRI, I undertook a multifaceted role encompassing various responsibilities within agricultural management and technical support. This included:

Reception, analysis, and processing of databases from both livestock and agriculture farms.

Supervising machinery and manpower, as well as managing wineries.

As a Scientific Contributor, I served as an agricultural scientist, dedicating my efforts to the elaboration of articles covering various topics within the realm of agriculture. My responsibilities involved in-depth research and the development of current content, meticulously crafted to be comprehensible to a wide audience, including those without professional experience in agriculture but with a keen interest in the subject matter.

In this role, I contributed to bridging the gap between scientific knowledge and public understanding, ensuring that complex agricultural concepts were communicated effectively. Through my articles, I aimed to disseminate valuable insights and foster a deeper appreciation for agriculture among readers from diverse backgrounds.

Conducted research for the Master's thesis on 'Phenological forecasting models and pollen quality of Vitis vinifera L.', focusing on phenological modeling of the grapevine, climatological data modeling, and statistical analysis.

Published articles on topics related to the pollen quality of the grapevine and phenological modeling in predicting grapevine flowering.

Presented oral communication and contributed to the publication of the book of the 10th Meeting of Young Researchers at U.PORTO (IJUP), presenting a phenological model to predict the timing of Vitis Vinifera L. flowering.

During my time as a trainee at Cantinho das Aromáticas, I coordinated activities related to volunteering, including the reception and accompaniment of volunteer groups. 

Additionally, I played a key role in implementing practices related to the propagation, planting, harvesting, and post-harvesting of aromatic and medicinal plants.

I also completed a thesis for my Degree in Engineering Sciences, focusing on the topic of Social and Therapeutic Horticulture.

Moreover, I had the opportunity to present communications with publications in the proceedings of congresses, where I shared insights on the impact of horticulture practices on the quality of life of volunteers at Cantinho das Aromáticas.

I'm an Engineer and Ph.D. from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. I worked in a software enterprise and conducted my scientific research at INESC TEC (Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science), developed my passion for the IT world 🎓💼💻

I developed several AI (Supervised ML) models for early plant bacterial disease diagnosis. In this regard, I performed applied predictive classification modeling both using R and Python features. Also, I had developed different phenological models to predict the timing of developmental events in plants 👩🏽‍💻🥼🧫🌱
