Senior Operations Manager

Emmanuel Church (Church of England)

Working as a part of the church's leadership team to ensure that charity meets its responsibilities regarding strategic planning, risk assessment, operating systems, buildings and facilities management. Member of the project team driving the transition from the traditional church settings to Church Without Walls, successfully delivering the platform and solutions enabling to grow congregation and care for individuals during and after the pandemic. 

• Leading development and management of operational systems for HR, finance and Church Suite (main database).
• Fulfilling duties of corporate lead and implementation officer for building and information security including risk assessments, health and safety policy, food and hygiene policies, fire safety, etc.
• Working with DPO to ensure the effective implementation of Data Protection Act 2018.
• Working with the Finance Committee and Fabric Committee on annual budget and finance planning, while being a budget holder for church office, properties and ongoing maintenance.

• Line managing church office team including Administrator and PA to Clergy, as well as supervising key volunteers.

Arranging travel requirements including complex overseas trips.

PA to Director of Central London

Delivering high standards of team management by providing efficient and effective secretarial and administrative support to the Head of Regional and St James’s Portfolios, Portfolio Manager and Regional Team; including but not limited to full diary management, PowerPoint presentations, board papers, business plans and reports preparation. Working closely with JV partners when organizing board meetings or preparing data for the purpose of quarterly reports and planning.
