Personal: 2x Iron(wo)man, Advanced Open Water Diver, Marathoner, Triathlete, Philanthropist, dog lover, and best of all, a proud mom to the coolest little girls, Quinn (1.5) & Logan (3.5).

I have a parent with Alzheimer’s, and not a day goes by that I don’t wish there were a new therapy to slow or stop this decline. For families like mine, every day matters.

We all know someone we wish could have lived a longer, healthier life - but their time was cut short because there wasn’t a cure, or because it was found too late. 

Too often, promising clinical trials are slowed down by study design, patient recruitment and retention, site activation, data quality, or execution challenges.

One of my favorite highlights of the week: judging Vizient, Inc annual AI hackathon  - where every one of their employees is empowered with ChatGPT.

At the end of the competition, the winning teams get to come to OpenAI — and after seeing today’s pitches, I can’t wait to meet them in person. I was blown away by the creativity and real-world impact of the ideas shared: from new ways to generate key insights from data, to stronger client prep, to even an entirely new revenue category for their business (keeping it vague intentionally 😉).

The biggest takeaway? Executive sponsorship makes all the difference.
