Digital Investments & Transformation

Stronghold is a Swedish investment company with the focus to create the real estate services of tomorrow. The portfolio consists of the property consulting firm Newsec AB (www.newsec.se), the Private Equity real estate fund management firm NIAM AB (www.niam.se) among others. In total a revenue €350 million, 2500 employees and 58 million sqm under management. 

Since 2014 Stronghold has had a growing focus on #PropTech with investments (among others) in WorkAround (https://www.workaround.se/), Tessin (https://tessin.se/) and Gyana (https://www.gyana.co.uk/).

Stronghold founded Datscha in 2000 (where I spent 19 years) and did an exit in 2019.

Over the years I become more and more involved in Stronghold Invest (owner of Datscha) and in 2019 I transferred full time. The role included being Senior Advisor for Datscha up until the exit in December 2019 to the US based Real Capital Analytics.

Senior Advisor Product Management

Datscha is a successful Internet start up for the commercial real estate industry (#PropTech) with business in Sweden (launched in year 2000), Finland (2010) and UK (2015). 

Acquired in 2019 by US based Real Capital Analytics. 

As CPO it was my responsibility to create, maintain and implement the roadmap for our solutions. During my watch the revenue grew from 1 to 100 million SEK in CARR (revenue) while keeping the annual churn around 3% and with 96% satisfied clients. 

Was responsible for launching the product internationally. 

For the first couple of years, as a founding employee, this position included everything from strategy to writing use cases and being the only one on test, training, pre-sales and support. Furthermore, for the first four years I also ran marketing. 

Over the years the Product team grew to a team of 6 and my focus became more on the global product strategy and strategic initiatives. 

Part of the management team since 2004. 
Became Partner in Stronghold (the investment company owning Datscha) in 2005 (see above).

Started my career writing JCL code for a COBOL system running on IBM DB2 as an IT & Management Consultant in the field of Telecom Billing systems (read: massive IT projects). Involved in projects for the major telecom providers in Sweden, Germany, Holland and the UK.

Business Analyzer

A Senior Advisor, Board Member and Chief Product Officer with a 25+ year track record to develop world-class digital solutions. 

Spent 19 years in an internet start up with an exit in 2019 when sold to a US based buyer.

1) explaining Tech & Product Management to investors, board members & senior executives
2) creating SaaS (internet) solutions with 96% satisfied customers
