As a trainee assistant at Dwellbeing Shieldfield, I conducted a public realm site survey, proposed and presented intervention ideas, and organised a car-free day to highlight the role and use of the streets within the neighbourhood. I also contributed to the Dwellbeing Shieldfield Strategic Plan, outlining the community priorities for public realm changes. We received 2022 Engagement & Place Team Award. I graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture and Urban Planning degree from Newcastle University in July 2023, where I also completed 40 hours of extra-curricular activities and received an NCL Plus Award. I gained valuable research skills as a research assistant, collecting and organising documentary information about the e-scooters trial in Newcastle. I am particularly motivated to contribute to sustainable travel solutions and support efficient and environmentally friendly urban developments.
