Here's a glimpse into the transformative journey after 10 days of fasting...

Many people ask me how's the fast going...well here is a breakdown:)

1. Metabolic Switch: The body has shifted into a fat-burning mode, utilizing stored energy for fuel. This metabolic switch not only aids in weight loss but also promotes cellular repair and longevity. The same hunger at Day 1, 2 or 3 is no longer there. 

2. Blood Sugar Regulation: Fasting for 10 days has led to improved insulin sensitivity, allowing for better blood sugar control. This reduces the risk of diabetes and supports overall metabolic health. Feeling alot more healthier. 

3. Cellular Repair: Autophagy, the cellular cleaning process, is in full swing. The body is breaking down old and damaged cells, making way for new, healthier ones. This rejuvenation process boosts immunity and slows down aging.

4. Enhanced Brain Function: Surprisingly, fasting can sharpen your focus and enhance cognitive function. As ketone levels rise, your brain receives a steady supply of energy, improving mental clarity and concentration. One of my favorite elements of fasting is this. 

5. Spiritual Renewal: Beyond the physical benefits, fasting fosters spiritual growth and mindfulness. With each passing day, we gain a deeper appreciation for the blessings in our lives.

6. Gratitude & Compassion: Through fasting, we realize that we don't need as much food as we often consume. It's a humbling reminder to be mindful of those who go without, prompting us to reflect on our blessings and extend a helping hand to those in need.

But the journey doesn't end here! Over the next 20 days, expect even more remarkable transformations:

7. Improved Digestive Health: With prolonged fasting, your digestive system gets a much-needed break, allowing it to heal and function more efficiently. Many experience relief from gastrointestinal issues such as bloating and indigestion.

Where will you be on April 8th, 2024 at 4:33 pm? Over 1 million people are expected in the only city in #Canada which is in the direct path of #totality during this historic total #eclipse of the #sun. 

Starting at 2:04 p.m. and ending at 4:33 p.m., with totality occurring at 3:18 p.m. the last time we had this was 1979 and the next one is 2044. 

I will be in the  City of Niagara Falls, watching a once-in-a-lifetime event with my cool glasses on, Jim Diodati got a lawn chair for me?
