Quick snippet of my background: — I toured the world as a professional drummer and award-winning artist manager before the age of 25 — I received an RIAA Gold Record for Modest Mouse as a Sony Music Entertainment Marketing Director — I transitioned to a tech founder/CEO in 2008 in order to help more people build sustainable careers in the creative industry. We built one of the first digital asset management (DAM) platforms for the creative enterprise used by large orgs like Universal Music Group, renowned institutions like Berklee College of Music, as well as independents from Red Bull athletes to Grammy award winning musicians. — In an effort to save a Techstars party I was co-producing, we invented a roaming photo booth solution + pro photography platform that went on to backed by Y Combinator and streamlined the visual storytelling needs of countless brands and organizations; from NBCUniversal to NASCAR, NFL to The White House (acquired by Snappr in Aug '21). — I have produced over 3000 events. — At the start of the pandemic I was hand-selected to be on a small team of consultants helping the CEOs of DOT Foods and LAZ Parking solve critical business challenges around the Food Supply Chain and Last Mile Fulfillment / Capacity shortfalls. — I was then recruited to Wefunder (worlds #1 Equity Crowdfunding platform) as their Founder In Residence where I partnered with founders to raise ~$40MM from their customers and community alongside major VCs like a16z, Sequoia, YC, and others. I also had the privilege to manage teams, incorporate new sales and onboarding processes, as well as acted as an official evangelist at conferences, seminars, and workshops. — I continue to advise and support founders wherever I can add value; either through guidance, fundraising support, introductions, high fives, or as a Techstars mentor. — On the personal side, I live with my wife and daughter a 20min. boat ride from downtown Boston and actively volunteer in my community; including on the Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Committee, the Clean Energy Climate Action Committee, and work to “keep history alive” as a Revolutionary War reenactor for military ceremonies and US holidays with the Hingham Militia Co | Hingham Historical Society.
