CircleSquare helps you find tennis partners nearby (social media + community). I joined a team of 3 founders as their first product manager.

- Helped define the product main KPI and identify the primary engine of growth.
- Introduced a process to help define, document and maintain requirements in order to improve the team ability to ship more consistently and with less risk.
- Rebuilt website from scratch with Vue and Nuxt, handling all aspects of internationalization. Increased lighthouse performance score from 59 to 99 to improve user acquisition.

Fractional Product Manager, Frontend Developer

Fuzzboard, previously "Startup Jobs Portugal" was my first solo project and I had to wear many hats. In 2022, I pivoted the platform to help people that were escaping the war in Ukraine. Due to the intensity and parallel efforts to help refugees find a safe place to live, I burned out and decided to merge the platform with existing initiatives. Directly responsible for helping 400+ refugees.

— Defined the product distribution strategy which included programmatic SEO (using automation to create and optimize a large number of unique pages at scale), built multiple bots for Telegram and Twitter, incorporated a feed of jobs on the Startup Portugal weekly newsletter. 
— Wrote an API in Flask and the frontend in React + HTMX.
— Made product decisions in a fast pace (due to the urgency created by the war) and adapted the UX according to the pressing needs. This included, for example, letting people save jobs for later without actually having to create an account or login.

- Built a bootstrapped marketplace and SaaS from ideation to launch, to recurring revenue.
- Designed the product from paper prototypes and mockups to a high-fidelity user interface (information architecture, usability tests, card sorting & user interviews).
- Conducted continuous product discovery and helped shape and scope improvements alongside my developers.
- Enabled 1000+ video calls between mentors and mentees worldwide. From Portugal, to Nigeria, to Pakistan.
- Recruited and led a team of 5 people.

Upframe started as local student organization for youth entrepreneurship. Today we're helping first-time founders worldwide find mentors who can help them grow. 

- Organized events and meetups to connect first-time founders to industry leaders.
- Built an international network of mentors who passed through companies like Uniplaces, Zomato, Tesla and Spotify.
- Developed a 6-week startup pre-seed program for students that resulted in real companies and jobs.
