I'm Jennifer Jackson & let me tell you a story I am a software engineer by profession and have been working in this field for more than 2 years. My first job after graduating from Massachusetts Institute was at Zillow. My experience working at Zillow was fantastic, and I was even awarded employee of the month twice. By the end of 2020, I had gotten married and managed to balance life and work. I had the happiest year of my life in 2021. I was expecting a child. In June 2021, I quit my job after 5 months due to baby care and housework. Sitting at home and just taking care of the baby was taking a mental toll on me, and I wanted to do something. For me, software engineering was not an option. While scrolling through the job suggestions, I came across a marketing job. I gave it a try. I have been working at GrowthPod for 11 months, and I'm constantly learning new things. The marketing field is something new to me, but it has its own pros and cons, which I am always curious about.
