Interconnectedness and interdependency is the fact of life “ I started my career as a Software Developer and I had an opportunity to work in the Research and Development in Advanced Computing at C-DAC for the government of India. I have been expanding by knowledge in software development, management and sharing my knowledge in this field from past three years. I am often been asked a question, why did you move from the IT industry to the agriculture sector ? Well, coming from a Agricultural rich country like India, I have always been closely linked to agriculture since my childhood. I always wanted to empower every Indian, especially women from the marginalized sections of society, by making them self-reliant and being able to contribute to the holistic development of our nation. Hence I have decided to have a deeper knowledge in the Agribusiness sector by examining its evolution and implementing it in my own venture. Right now my entire focus is on gaining in-depth knowledge about Agribusiness sector and discover how technology can be potentially used to effectively solve an issue in Agriculture. I am curious about the agricultural sector in the fields of strategy, consulting, marketing, sustainability, business development, innovation and technology.
