Professional lurker/learner => Major introvert. I frequently just hit "like" or "support" without commenting. It doesn't mean that what you posted wasn't valuable to me. It just means that I don't currently have words for it that extend beyond the mere fact of finding it useful, or aesthetically appealing in the case of artwork, or awesome for you in the case of accomplishments. I generally believe that words should serve a purpose beyond taking up space in the comment section to please an algorithm. Only clicking an emoji is still a response. --- How good am I? As of September 2023, I have been accused of using AI generation software to create my art... That was an interesting experience. I believe that Photoshop's generative tools are best reserved for saving time on editing. Everything else--overall compositions, background removal, & even most lesser editing--is all done by me, on principle & b/c, for the time being at least, AI isn't as skilled/reliable as I am. My relevant expertise include: ⦁ product design ⦁ packaging design ⦁ product labels and staging ⦁ mild to severe photograph damage repair ⦁ web design ⦁ lighting/exposure adjustments ⦁ color editing ⦁ background, furniture, etc. removal/changing ⦁ realistic 2D character creation ⦁ flyers/posters and web graphics ⦁ brochures ⦁ business cards ⦁ car window graphics ⦁ event banners ⦁ and self-learning. I have 2 Associate of Applied Science degrees, each with honors, plus 20+ years of experience in learning via books, the internet, and/or practice. According to career experts, this is the equivalent of almost 2 Masters Degrees, with a little more than 5 of that being in the bath & beauty industry. If you had to choose between someone with 2 literal Masters Degrees or someone with 20+ years of directly relevant education/experience & the proven ability to learn the job you're hiring for, which would you choose?
