I joined ETX Capital in September 2003, to compliment the High Net Worth desk.  My role was primarily that of a Sales Trader but also served to increase the company's profile through my media career.

Over the years and as the business has grown, my role has changed within the firm.  My primary focus is to get our name out in the public domain as a leading authority in the financial markets.  I regularly give commentary to all the main financial and non-financial broadcast, print and on-line media on market  movements.

Although my day to day contact with clients is not as active as it was, I still enjoy bringing on new business and discussing market strategy or portfolio construction with our premium customers. And I carry on trading for my self-Long/ Short equities.  The only way for me to sleep better at night!

I joined the business soon after set-up in December 1999 as a Derivatives Broker.  My role encompassed bringing on new business and servicing existing execution and advisory clients.  Along with this, I was also offered a guest slot on The Money Channel, a now defunct TV station, which kick started my media career. 

Whilst at Halewood, I was consistently the highest revenue generator for the firm, which led to being offered the role of Director and Head of Trading.
