As part of the Solutions Architecture and Design team I am leading a team of solutions architects and designers to define the End to End Solution for the Integration of the new Full IT stack of O2. 
This is a pivotal role that requires deep understanding of the Enterprise from both Business and Technical points of view and the full set of  technologies and products to a operate Telecommunication company.

 Digital Transformation Lead Solution Architect

As Smart Metering Technical Solutions Architect for the Smart Metering Implementation Programme I was in charge of a team tasked to define the Telefonica UK Smart Metering Integration and automation domains.

As I joined the programme, the delivery work was about to start and I leveraged on this opportunity to structure the work in the most efficient way. I defined and implemented an Architecture and Design framework used for the management of the solution from a modelling and delivery perspectives still in use today. 

I defined the integration of over 90 applications, 350+ interfaces.

I defined architecture and design of a the Telefonica Security Layer of GBCS (Great Britain Companion Specification) for the Telefonica Smart Metering Infrastructure. 

I worked on the end to end solution design and architecture of the Smart Metering Logistics functions to manufacture, ship and install over 25 million devices.

I outlined the solution to automate all Smart Metering processes (it includes control of over 250+ designs and 90 applications).

IoT Solutions Architect

Vodafone

As part of the Vodafone UK IT Architecture team my role is to plan and support the delivery of the Vodafone UK IT projects, promoting Enterprise Architecture best practice (via TOGAF implementation) with stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organisation.
 
As SME of the VF UK Salesforce.com cloud Lead Management and CRM platform and the OSS part of the Core IT stack, I plan and design the IT roadmap and actively support the design and implementation of strategic projects and the applications governance.

During my experience in Vodafone I also had the following opportunities: 

- To work on the Vodafone UK IT Enterprise programme, mainly focused on Unified Communications products like Vodafone OneNet, to design specific IT solutions for the enterprise.

- To be involved in a global strategic programme to integrate an acquired organisation (C&WW), assessing the strategic end-to-end IT architecture with particular focus on BSS and OSS layers. This, overseeing the Vodafone UK architecture work for the tactical integration of the CRM systems.

- To be the Lead Architect of the media work stream on the mCommerce programme. This role involves the integration of Vodafone UK with Weve (www.weve.com/partners), a joint venture with EE and O2 to create and accelerate the development of mobile marketing and wallet services in the UK.

IT Solutions Architect

Accenture UKI - Consulting

Since December 2010, employed in a project for the replacement of the whole IT stack of Vodafone UK, using an end-to-end Oracle solution; working as OSS subject matter expert at Vodafone UK HQ in Newbury, to design the replacement of the legacy Order Management and Service Activation systems using the Oracle OSM and ASAP products.

Main Tasks:
•	Gather / define system requirements.
•	To take part at functional and technical design and deliverables writing.
•	To act as interface between client and developing teams.
•	To coordinate other resources (team members and suppliers).
•	To plan internal and integration tests, test plan writing and support test execution.

Vodafone UK Client Facing IT consultant

Employed at the Accenture Broadband Innovation Center of Rome (Italy).

From October 2009 to December 2010, employed as client team member in a project for the design and test of a Social Network, for a leader Dubai (UAE) TELCO du, based on Drupal CMS technology.

From November 2008 to October 2009, working to the design and test of a NGN Authentication Authorization and Accounting System and a Policy Manager for the incumbent Italian TELCO Telecom Italia, based on J2EE and SOA technologies. Also involved in projects concerning the following subjects: Presence Gateway implementation (MOC e IMS) in VoIP systems; SCP implementation in an Intelligent Network; SS7 protocol emulation over IP; IP Trunking.

Involved with a project start-up for the implementation of a Policy Manager for the main Italian TELCO operator, Following the functional documentation and test plans writing and performed the test execution.
