Talent Acquisition Specialist

Screen candidates for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge by reviewing resumes, facilitating phone interviews, and conducting reference checks in order to evaluate skill level in relation to position requirements.
Update the applicant tracking system by ensuring information is regularly documented including applicant status, updates throughout each phase of the process, and thorough notes in order to ensure proper documentation.
Serve as the first point of contact for Candidates throughout the recruiting life cycle by ensuring regular communication, providing progress updates, offering guidance, running reports, and responding to questions in order to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood.
Identify business hiring needs by partnering with the hiring Manager and key stakeholders in order to develop and execute solutions to satisfy talent needs

Associate Recruiter

Follows departmental Human Resource processes to ensure timekeeping is processed according to union contracts, state laws, leave of absence policies, and side agreements from Labor Relations. Documents and retains payroll-related records; includes bids, changes or updates/revisions, or exception log discrepancies through written correspondence. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local laws regarding timekeeping, attendance, and discipline. Maintains SOX compliance with daily and range-date balancing for HR to reduce risk of over/under payments. Proactively communicates to Team Members, Leaders, and internal employees to establish improvements on all Employees’ time, attendance, and leaves of absence procedures.

The Cadet Pathway trains new or private pilots with the skills needed to become a Southwest Airlines First Officer in as little as four years. There’s no “typical” candidate, just bring your passion, your potential, and your willingness to take off toward a new future. Requirements Include:

✈️ Be transitioning out of a non-pilot role in the military.

✈️ After graduation, become eligible for hire at one of our program partners.
✈️ Train with our partners for up to two years.
