This role is to primarily manage the creation of new projects, fundraising, networking, partnerships, awareness of EPIC Young Business Programme; and support the Martin James Group Programme Director. This role is a key part of the growth and expansion of EPIC. Alongside Programme Coordination and coaching with young entrepreneurs on the Young Business Programme.

EPIC is a business mentoring programme engaging and enabling young people 16-25 years of age, who have experienced adversity and/or the care of a local authority, to create and launch their own company.

We engage our young entrepreneurs with 1-2-1 and group pastoral mentoring, focusing on self-esteem building through to skills based sessions on employability, and group ‘Masterclasses’, which focus on key business areas such as Business and Financial Planning, Marketing and Brand design alongside specialist topics such as Web Design. This is complimented with 1-2-1 business mentoring sourced from an additional pool of mentors across different industries within the Martin James Network, ensuring every young person within the EPIC Young Business Programme has a person centred, individualised plan with wrap around support. EPIC also provides financial support to cover business start-up costs.

My role as part of the Job Entry Targeted Support (JETS). As an Employability Coach I provide practical support for people to develop skills and knowledge to overcome barriers to entering and sustaining employment. Assist with preparing and adapting a tailored employability action plan, whilst maintaining an up to date working knowledge of the local labour market and support clients throughout the interview process.

a)	To work with the Partnership Group to organise activities, events or other work to raise awareness of Big Local and involve people in the process of capturing a vision for the area.
b)	To implement a marketing strategy for Big Local in conjunction with the Partnership Group.
c)	To develop a Community Database of local services, key stakeholders and local residents who have expressed a desire to be involved in the Big Local project. 
d)	To develop wider partnerships and involve a range of stakeholders in the delivery of the Big Local Project
e)	To produce regular project progress reports to be presented to the ppartnership Group.
f)	To work with local residents to identify priority activities
g)	To work with Youth Services on creating a Youth Engagement strategy
h)	To promote the availability of grant funding amongst local people/groups to fund activities that support the delivery of the Big Local plan.

* Provide housing and allocations advice within supported living (16-25 young person hostel)
* Take referrals from Local Authorities and Housing Associations for vulnerable service users
* Assess each individual for their housing needs and prioritise accordingly
* Carry initial interviews and assessments of service users and make the necessary decision
* Book appointments for the relevant assessments and identify the risks and needs of each individual
* Arrange and accompany on viewings of properties and accommodation when needed
* Deal with the sign ups and allocation of accommodation

* The positons will require lone working and travel to the North and South of Warwickshire

Manage a homeless hostel with support workers ensuring that daily support sessions, Health and Safety checks, building and room checks are completing. Auditing the files and notes made for residents to ensure they meet criteria.
I manage the social media sites for Oxhill House on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube ensuring content is available. I utilise these platforms along with phone calls, personal visits and emails to make contact with other organisations and individuals to grow the network and brand awareness of Oxhill House.

I was someone who said I couldn’t draw for many years and shying away from it. We now draw together most evenings ❤️

Now, I love drawing ✍️ 

Why? It’s mine and no one can take that away.
I knew my limitations and keep challenging myself to do new things.

Whatever you are trying or doing in life, remember that it takes effort, it takes time, to learn new skills and practice.

The only person stopping you, is ultimately YOU

One year ago today , I was being looked after in the Day Surgery ward for a new hearing aid 🦻 

In and out in 10 mins, bit of local anaesthetic and chatting to consultant and anaesthetist throughout.

What a fantastic difference it has made to my life.

Everyone in the space will tell you why building relationships with influencers is important, but no one will tell you how...

So here's a few tips to help you get started:

1. Show appreciation.

Hear me out. We've had numerous instances where an influencer has thanked us for being considerate. Being appreciative doesn't take much effort but can go a long way in generating your desired results.

2. Performance Clauses

Compensate influencers for their performance. We go as far as offering the influencer an additional performance fee even if it hasn't been initially agreed. It shows the creator that you truly value them.

3. Schedule calls with creators.

Meeting with a creator can seem unnecessary but it's amazing for building rapport. Face-to-face interaction is the only real way to build rapport. If you want a real relationship with the influencer, invest time into it.

Ultimately, this completely depends on your commitment to the relationship. 

Influencer marketing is a long-term play.
