As Head of Digital Business, I had the opportunity to lead multiple digital initiatives, from developing and executing the digital strategy to creating new business models and driving innovation.

My most significant project was leading the development of the C.O.R.E. Operating System, which is a revolutionary machine steering system across all brands. This system harmonizes the Human-Machine-Interface for a seamless customer experience and enables the machines of United Grinding to be future-ready and provides a basis for further innovations and Business Models. 

As part of my role, I was accountable for the existing suite of digital solution products at United Grinding. These products have been designed to improve production visualization, minimize machine downtimes, and maximize profitability for the customers.

As Head of Digitalization, I was leading the following departments: Analytics and Data Services, Automation Services, Data Science Services, and the Digital Innovation Labs. I have created the Digital Strategy, the Digital Roadmap and managed the Digital Portfolio for the whole group.

I have built the Digital CoE in Switzerland and Spain with highly skilled people to execute the transformation. Additionally, I have implemented a governance model to allow quick and focused decisions and to move fast with the developments. I have changed the organization to agile work and implemented an open communication culture across my organization.

I have set up the technical capabilities in Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/ Cognitive Systems/ Business Intelligence/ IoT / Industry 4.0/ Predictive Maintenance / Augmented Reality/ Process Automation / Blockchain and Robotics (RPA)

Transformation means continuous learning and adjusting, that's why I have build a system to measure and monitor the progress and to evaluate the markets.

Head of Digitalization

As Head of the Business Intelligence/ Analytics and Innovation department, I have created the BI Strategy and BI Roadmap. I have changed the project management approach to agile/ scrum and I have changed the requirements engineering process to a customer-focused approach. I have created an easier way to manage Licenses and Vendors and could save costs with the new approach.

I was responsible to run of the central Data Warehouse for Finance, Operations, Sustainability, HR, and Planning based on different technologies (SAP BI, Information Builders, Microsoft BI, Business Objects)

During my time in this position, I have built the foundation for the Digital Transformation by starting PoCs in Industry 4.0/ Predictive Maintenance, Distributed Ledger/ Blockchain and Process Robotics/ RPA/ Process Automation as well as Artificial Intelligence

As Head of the departments BI (SAP BW, Business Objects), ERP Finance Applications (SAP FI/CO, CFM, CML, CM) and Drupal Websystem Services I was responsible for a huge part of the data and processes of the company. I was responsible for the full change and run lifecycle of the systems: Change Management, Requirements Engineering, License and Vendor Management, Operations and Architecture.

During my time in this position, we implemented new innovations in all areas of the systems. New Planning- and Reportingsystems, new Frontend Technologies (Fiori), new Database Technologies, and new Process Optimization Technologies. 

I also build a Drupal CoE and offered Drupal Services to the Allianz Group globally.

During my time as Senior Business Analyst, I was leading BI, Reporting, and Planning Projects. I was responsible for the requirements engineering as well as the development of SAP BW, ABAP, BW-IP, SAS StM, SAP SEM BPS, VBA. I was the technical supervisor of the strategic and operative planning and reporting processes.
