On 12th December 2019 I took part in the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge, rowing solo and unsupported 3,000 miles from La Gomera, Spain to English Harbour, Antigua to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, achieving the following:
1. I raised c£750,000 for Macmillan Cancer, fully funding a Macmillan Centre and two "help lines"
2. I won the solo category for my race, finishing in just over 48 days
3. I set a new world record for my class of boat (R25 Solo)
