Fountain Partnership are a Digital Marketing Agency.  As one of its founders, I've been part of creating a unique methodology that takes the risk out of marketing through accurate forecasting. We're goals-driven and use evidence to bring exponential ROI for our clients through full-funnel optimisation. This is supported by a culture of transparency, honesty and innovation, with a relentless focus on success.

This approach has delivered wonderful results for our clients - with three of our smaller ones exiting for a combination of £75,000,0000 over the last 2 years.  

Off the back of our results, in 2016 GOOGLE awarded Fountain Best Search Performance in EMEA out of a shortlist of 90 of Europe, the Middle East and Africa's top Agencies. 

In 2017, we won Google's Award for Growing Businesses online in EMEA, and were flown out to New York by Google for the Global Final.  We ended up winning out of a total of 1100 of the world's biggest marketing agencies from 58 countries.

Beyond our focus on results for clients, we care passionately about responding to the climate emergency, with a pledge to plant 1 million trees by 2025, in addition to racing to zero emissions as quickly as possible.

Reconnect Weekends

As a founder who has burned out in the past, I'm keen to help others avoid going through what I did.  There's a lot of pain out there.  And most of it is unnecessary.  Reconnect Weekends changed my life. I'm keen to bring it to my network to help stressed-out business leaders, quiet their minds, sleep better at night, and make optimal decisions.

By growing our awareness of how our minds work, we can have less stress, more joy, and get better results.

Million Tree Pledge

“The most important question each of us must ask is, ‘Are we being good ancestors?’” - Jonas Salk (creator of the polio vaccine)

As a Founder of the Million Tree Pledge, my job is to tell a story and inspire bold action on climate change in the business community.  Humanity has cut down over 3 trillion trees (almost 50% of the total), and emitted 1.5 trillion tonnes of greenhouse gasses.  Very simply, for there to be a habitable planet for our children and descendants, we need to put the trees back and draw down the greenhouse gasses.  

The Million Tree Pledge is helping solve these two problems.  We are a collaborative initiative bringing together businesses and individuals to make a bold commitment to plant 1 million trees each in the coming years.  This is in addition to racing to zero emissions. 

Led by a group of established and independent small businesses, the Pledge has two parts:
 
1. A commitment to plant over 1 million trees by a specific date (most pledgers have chosen 2025).

2. A commitment to find at least two other pledgers, ensuring that the initiative grows exponentially.
 
Through the Ecologi.com platform, pledgers donate to the Eden Reforestation Project. With the mantra ‘plant trees, save lives’, this charity reduces extreme poverty and restores healthy forests by employing local people (often women) to plant millions of trees every year – thereby creating employment opportunities for disadvantaged groups, while planting trees with a focus on sustainability and biodiversity. heir sites are in 8 countries, including Madagascar, Indonesia and Mozambique, chosen to maximise the positive impact on nature - for example, planting Mangroves in the Madagascan rainforest absorbs four times more C02 than the average tree.  Since 2004 they have planted almost 500,000,000 trees creating 4,850,313 workdays for people in extreme poverty.

The climate emergency is the biggest crisis humanity has ever faced. 

As the world’s innovators and communications experts, we have an unrivaled ability to create the future, and a duty to ensure that future is sustainable. This council will champion sustainability in the digital sector and build a framework to enable BIMA members to take action.

My role is to support the Council in achieving its goals, while also introducing BIMA members to the Million Tree Pledge: https://www.milliontreepledge.org/ - encouraging them, their clients, and networks to drawdown way beyond their carbon footprint.

Norfolk County Council

In 2009 I was elected to represent the 11,000 residents of the Wensum Division in Norwich, on Norfolk County Council.  I won with 49.6% of the vote, becoming the first Green Party County Councillor to represent Wensum.  

During my four-year term I acted group leader and deputy leader – sitting on a range of committees, including Planning, Economic Development and Cultural Services.  I also sat on the ‘Transformation working group’ that was tasked to devise ways the Council could generate more income. Achievements during this time included setting up a county-owned renewable energy company, Norfolk Energy Futures Ltd.  This has created an additional revenue stream for the Council and is the now largest of its kind in the UK.  I stood down in 2013 to focus on Fountain.  My seat was still held by the Green Party.
