In my work as a people leader, I treat people as capable adults who deserve fulfilling lives and careers and who make responsible decisions and take ownership of them. That's my baseline. Having experienced leadership from various angles in the past 20 years - as an individual contributor, team lead, part of management, and an entrepreneur, I experienced its transformative power, which sparked my deep passion for it.
