This week marks three years at Nabla and one year since I moved to New York to help us expand into the US. Both milestones feel like turning points in my journey.

Working at a startup from Series A through to Series C is a constant exercise in adaptability. The pace is fast, the challenges are complex, and nothing is ever “done.” But that’s exactly what makes it so rewarding. Scaling isn’t just about strategy and execution: it’s about resilience, creativity, and the culture you build together. At Nabla, I’ve been lucky to work with a team that is ambitious, hands-on, and incredibly supportive. That team spirit is what makes the tough days worth it.

Moving to New York has been equally transformative. Entering our core market, adjusting to a new rhythm, and building in an environment where the bar is so high has pushed me to grow in ways I couldn’t have anticipated.

If there’s one takeaway from these past years, it’s that embracing uncertainty (whether it’s joining an early-stage startup or taking the leap to work abroad) can be one of the most challenging and fulfilling choices you can make. I’m grateful for everything this journey has taught me so far, and excited for what’s ahead with this incredible team!
