I was honoured to lead the embedding of CatholicCare NT’s monitoring, evaluation, learning and planning (MELP) strategy. I facilitated and embedded continuous improvement through research, leadership coaching, communicating expectations and achievements, refining resources, and developing key organisational policy, procedure and guidance materials. Through high quality audit and review practices, I supported the identification and collation of evidence for CatholicCare NT’s accreditation for the QIP Health and Community Services Standards, National Standards for Mental Health Services, Rainbow Tick Standards and Safeguarding Children Standards. More recently, I researched and developed draft Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Evidence-Based Practice Frameworks.

Evaluation Systems Manager

I negotiated, supported, managed and reported on contracts for the Access to Allied Psychological Services (ATAPS) triage service, Crime Victims and NO MORE domestic and family violence program. I designed dedicated program plans, program logics, program guidelines, and theories of change. I reengineered CatholicCare NT’s client management database procedures. With the Working Group, I drafted the second stage of CatholicCare NT’s Reconciliation Action Plan. I executed CatholicCare NT’s strategic direction in collaboration with the leadership team. Led a culturally and experientially diverse team. I operationalised and reviewed the NO MORE program, and analysed service gaps and challenges, and proposed innovative solutions.

Capacity Development Manager/Senior Contract Manager

I conducted research and developed staff coaching and training programs in occupational health and safety, mental health, suicide prevention, and alcohol and other drugs. I supervised the development of training materials for the Family Coping Toolkit, an innovative methodology for narrative practice with Aboriginal families. I organised regular meetings with senior contract managers to assure the client database captured and reported as per funding body and contractual requirements. Interacted with Aboriginal staff to provide CatholicCare NT’s Aboriginal cultural awareness induction across the organisation to achieve culturally appropriate services.
